“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Gibran
This week I’m joining up with the #LivingArrows project run by Donna Wishart at Whattheredheadsaid with my third set of photos to reflect a week in life of my two little ones.
Last weekend we managed a trip to RHS Wisley. It was a beautiful cold winter’s day and we had a lovely time walking around and seeing all the flower installations. The light was perfect for some of the shots we got, but I was happy just spending the day as a foursome and seeing a bit of sunshine.
La Choupie was mesmerised by the fish swimming around in the pond but couldn’t figure out why our coins skimmed across the surface. The fish looked very odd – almost like they should have been still and frozen to match the icy surface of the water.
Mon Petit Pudding is over 8 months now and he loves his sister so much. I don’t know what they were chatting about, but whatever it was, he was giggling away as usual. It’s at times like this that I can see why we there are benefits to an 18 month old age gap. My biggest wish is that they’ll only grow closer and closer.
It’s a bit of a wet week this week, so I’m not sure what I’ll manage to capture for next week’s pics if we’re mainly stuck indoors. Enjoy the puddles folks!
